The Rally We encourage you to review this website often for the latest details.  Email us to receive an application to be one of the honored 21 Inaugural Conquistadors in the El Camino Real 1000.  Ride the Royal Road with Us! The El Camino Real 1000 will occur in late May or early June of 2011.  We will all gather in San Diego for the opening events on Wednesday evening.  On Thursday, our driving will take us from San Diego up through Los Angeles and into Santa Barbara.  On Friday morning everyone will drive up the beautiful California coast and arrive in Big Sur for the third night.  On Saturday morning the rally will go from Big Sur into the Napa Valley. Participants will then drive back into downtown San Francisco for the closing events on Saturday night. The El Camino Real 1000 provides a wonderful mix of driving and lifestyles.  From urban dining to country roads and quaint missions, rally participants will see the best of California in their prized automobiles.
